Xiaomi confirms smartwatch to launch in Q2 2016

Xiaomi mobile may no longer be one of the top five smartphone makers in the world, according to the latest numbers from IDC, but that won't be changing the company's plans to expand its business. Xiaomi has confirmed that it has plans to release a smartwatch later this year. Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of info beyond that.

While we were expecting it to be called the Redmi Note 2 Pro all this while, now it’s confirmed. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro will be officially known as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. Today, the upcoming Xiaomi will likely introduce the group's biggest lineup yet with impressive devices including Xiaomi Mipad 2, smartphone and even a Xiaomi Smartwatch in its arsenal.
