A couple of hours ago we got to know about a future Xiaomi phablet – the Xiaomi Max. In the meantime, two or three photographs have also surfaced, and they appear to be coming straight from the production line. The shots show the device's front panel and it's huge.
Both images shared by GizOK are said to come directly from the production line. They show the alleged front panel indicating the Xiaomi Max might be a phablet and not a regular-sized smartphone. Three capacitive buttons at the bottom along with earpiece and sensor cutouts on top are also visible. Rumours suggests that although there is no physical home button with fingerprint sensor in the front like seen in the Xiaomi Mi5, there will be a sensor placed at the back panel, something similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 or the Redmi Note 3 Pro.
Xiaomi is also rumoured to be working on its second-generation Mi Note smartphone - the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. A recent leak claims pricing details of the handset, and also suggests that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, similar to its predecessor, will pack top-notch specifications. A tipster claimed that the Mi Note 2 will be priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 31,000) which if compared to the original Mi Note is costlier.
Further, it is speculated that Xiaomi Mobile could unveil the device in May this year, but there is no official confirmation so far.
