Xiaomi Redmi 3 available just in XiaomiDevice

Xiaomi Redmi 3 will be released on January 12

Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi 3 smartphone will be launched next week - on Tuesday, January 12. The confirmation came in the form of a teaser the China-based company posted on its official Weibo account.

The post on the company's Weibo account also mentions that the smartphone will have a 5-inch display and a redesigned metal body. The previous Xiaomi Redmi models - namely Redmi 1S, 2 and 2 Prime - have had 4.7-inch displays and plastic, however, the long-awaited Xiaomi Mi5 not appear on this conference.

There are two Xiaomi smartphone that were recently certified by the Chinese regulator TENNA. The Mi 2015811 and Mi 2015812 were reported to have received certification, indicating that its release is forthcoming.

Xiaomi Kenzo benchmark exposure, may be Redmi 3

We've recently seen the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 made official, so now it's time to start thinking of devices that might launch in early 2016. A device dubbed the Xiaomi Kenzo is the subject of a new benchmark spot, and there's speculation that this could be the upcoming Redmi 3.

As you can see in the screenshot above, the phone is codenamed as Xiaomi Kenzo and is sporting a six-core ARM CPU. It is being said that the phone has got a Snapdragon 618 processor under its hood, with two A72 cores and four A53 cores. The chip is made using a 28nm process, and the phone is running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The amount of RAM is given as 1855, which means that the phone is using a 2GB RAM chip.

Xiaomi Redmi 3 or Redmi Note 2 uses MTK helio X10

The general manager of MediaTek wireless communications division in micro-blog on a few days ago in India, Xiaomi Mi4 conference made the evaluation, is very supportive of the Lei jun. Analysts Sun Changxu forwarded this microblogging and said "MT6795 (helio X10) of Redmi phone want to publish." It may be Redmi 3 or Redmi Note 2.
