According to a report by The Mobile Indian, Xiaomi is expected to announce its Mi 5, which has been in the news since July, on Wednesday along with Redmi Note 2 Pro. It is also reported that the Xiaomi Mi Edge will be unveiled at the event but nothing is confirmed at the moment.
Xiaomi may release all the aforementioned devices on Wednesday, or just a couple of them or a different product altogether. But for now, let's have a look at the details of the devices expected to be released soon, if not this week.
Xiaomi Mi 5 specifications:
According to reports so far, Xiaomi Mi 5 will sport a 5.2-inch QHD touchscreen with 2560 x 1440 pixels screen resolution protected by Gorilla Glass 4, and have features like fingerprint sensor and Type-C USB port. It is expected to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, 32/64 GB internal memory, 4 GB RAM, 16 MP main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), 5 MP secondary snapper and a 3000mAh battery.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro specifications:
It is rumoured that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro is an improvised version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2. It is expected to come with a metal back and fingerprint scanner, and sport a 5.5-inch full-HD display. It is also expected to be powered by the MediaTek MT6795 SoC processor clocking at 2.2GHz, and run Android 5.1 Lollipop-based MIUI 7 operating system. It will also come packed with 32GB internal storage and 2GB RAM, a 13 MP main camera, a 5 MP front-snapper, and a 3,060mAh battery.
Xiaomi Mi Edge specifications:
It is reported that the Xiaomi Mi Edge will have a 5.2-inch dual-edge screen with 2K (2560x1440 pixels) resolution display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 Hexa-core SoC processor, and come packed with 3GB or 4GB RAM and a 16MP main camera.
