Xiaomi has just announced two amazing smartphones earlier this week, the Xiaomi Mi MIX and the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but the Chinese company plans to launch one other handset in the coming months.
Word about the Redmi 4 mid-range handset emerged online back in August, but Xiaomi is still mum on the device's whereabouts. In the meantime, Chinese regulators certified the Xiaomi Redmi 4, which suggests we're very close to a launch announcement.
As for the specifications, the details list that the Redmi 4 comes with a 5-inch display size with a Full HD resolution, as well as 32GB of internal storage space on the phone and 3GB of RAM. The cameras will be a 13MP sensor on the back with at least an LED flash, but no details are mentioned in regards to whether or not the phone will come with anything like OIS or phase detection autofocus. The front-facing camera will be a 5MP sensor for video chat and selfies, and inside it has a 4,000mAh battery to keep things powered on.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 phone will allegedly launch at CNY 1,300 ($190/€175), close to double what the original Redmi 3 cost. By the way, the international version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is €200 currently.
