Many of you are apparently interested in the Xiaomi Mi 5s. This is an enhanced version of the Xiaomi Mi5 flagship model and features some rather high-end specs. It is expected to be the first to use the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner made by Qualcomm.
As you can see, the back side is curved, and similar to the Xiaomi Mi5 Pro. The rear-facing camera sensor is also visible here, and so is the dual LED flash which is placed next to the camera. The back side of this phone seems to be made out of glass, and a part of its metal frame is also visible. Now, in case you don’t know, the front side of this smartphone had surfaced a couple of days ago, and if that leak is accurate, the Xiaomi Mi 5s will not sport a physical home key. This smartphone is actually expected to ship with the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, Qualcomm’s Sense ID technology.
Speaking of the screen, it is a 5.15-inch display, with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The Snapdragon 821 chipset is under the hood carrying a quad-core 2.4GHz CPU, and the Adreno 530 GPU. There are two, possibly three different variations of the Xiaomi Mi 5s. One comes with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM with 64GB of internal memory. Another features 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB of native storage, and there is some talk about Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus version with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 256GB of flash memory. With the unveiling now expected to take place a week from tomorrow, we wouldn't be surprised to see some more leaks over the next few days.
