Since the launch of the Xiaomi Mi5, it looks like Xiaomi is getting really serious about competing with the big brands. The Mi5 is a great budget flagship smartphone that looks and feels premium and doesn’t look like a cheap rip-off. Xiaomi put a great effort into building the phone, and now the company wants to keep upping its quality.
However, more than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, fans are eagerly waiting for the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. The original Mi Note is in dire need of a major upgrade, and if the latest rumors and leaks are to be believed, then the Mi Note 2 will be released soon. According to the latest rounds of rumors surrounding the Mi Note 2, the upcoming Xiaomi phablet will actually come in two different models. While the standard version will be powered by the Snapdragon 820 and have ‘just’ the 4GB of RAM, the premium variant will have a Snapdragon 821 under the hood along with 6GB of RAM. This Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Pro version will apparently also carry 128GB of internal storage, which is just as well, seeing as Xiaomi doesn’t include micro SD card slots with its premium handsets. The base model, however, will only come with 32GB storage, if the rumors are to be believed.
The limited to the display size which is 5.7 inches and with a resolution of about 2,560 x 1,440 pixels will surely desire the user, the built-in battery (3,600 mAh) and the cameras are too amazing. Both the versions will be equipped with a 16 MP rear camera and comes with a Sony image sensor (IMX 295), and an optical image stabilizer. The front-facing camera is said to come in at 5 MP which is quite interesting for all the selfie addicts and this will going to give their addiction to a whole new level with exceptional clarity and image quality.
