While the specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5s have surfaced online through various leaks, the Chinese smartphone maker has now begun to tease the smartphone’s performance as well.
Xiaomi has released an image showing the Antutu score of Mi 5s. This image comes right after Xiaomi’s competitor- LeEco unveil their flagship smartphone LeEco Le Pro 3 which boasted a Anutu score of 163,594, the highest seen on any Android smartphone.
Taking all the past leaks into consideration, the Mi 5s is expected expected to sport a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels). The Mi 5s is also expected to be powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor with Adreno 530 GPU paired with 6GB of RAM. The storage option is expected to be at 256GB and the device is pegged to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 on top.
For optics, the Mi 5s is seen to feature a similar camera setup as the Xiaomi Mi5, with a 16-megapixel primary sensor with its 4-axis OIS or Optical Image Stabilization, 6P lens, PDAF and also sapphire glass for protection. The device will also get a dual-tone LED flash and will support 4K video recording capabilities.
The launch of the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is expected to take place on 27 September in China and Xiaomi, from what has been revealed so far, is expected to pack in top of the line hardware. The Mi 5s is expected to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 821 paired with 6GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
